overview:
the end is a small-scale, theatrical escape-room set in an apocalyptic bunker. players will have to solve challenges and work together learn the mysteries of “the Darkness”(an extra-terrestrial substance threatening humanity).the experience takes place in a tunnel (15m (lenght) x 3.8m (wide) concave x 2.5m highest, 2.1m lowest (tall)) divided into three rooms. players are led by one actor who guides them through the various challenges. THIS GAME IS SUITABLE FOR PLAYERS 13+ (when children are accompanied by an adult).
show trigger warnings:
claustrophobia (one audience member will be in a confined space for a period of time), flashing lights, smoke, darkness, infant death, death, disease.
room 1:
players enter the bunker. The actor briefs the players on the game mechanics and the storyline.
room 2:
the decontamination room. there is a jumpscare in this room when an actor appears as a “husk” (human infected with “the darkness”) and walks between the players in the dark.
room 3:
this is the operations epicentre. the actor bursts into this room dressed as an army sargeant and holds players at gunpoint, before revealing themselves as ally.
